Opening in 1997, Healthy Food Chinese Kitchen is a remodeled takeout eatery that looks similar to others you may find in the surrounding area. When first stepping into the restaurant, diners are often struck by how orderly everything is and how spotless the floors and tables are. But instead of being soulless, the restaurant gives off a warm feeling thanks to the various Chinese ornaments that adorn the interior.
Many restaurants often claim to offer healthy food, but you never know what you are getting. This restaurant not only claims to offer healthy food but takes the extra step of incorporating it into their restaurant name. Through this, patrons can see that Healthy Food Chinese Kitchen is truly dedicated to offering healthy food to its customers. The General Tso’s Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and Beef with Broccoli receive the highest acclaim.
“We purchase all provisions on a daily basis to ensure that we have the freshest ingredients possible. We do not believe in storage as a means to decrease costs because we want to present the best product to our customers. Everything hinges on fresh ingredients. Healthy Food Chinese Kitchen not only strives to use the freshest ingredients, we demand it,” says owner Mrs. Yang.
When deciding to order take-out, customers really are looking for quick service. Mrs. Yang is aware of this and concentrated on how to improve efficiency when she first opened the restaurant. Employees at Healthy Food Chinese Kitchen have listened to her suggestions and have in doing so have made continuous improvements in their efficiency. By raising their efficiency the preparation times for orders has dropped dramatically. A take-out order, on average, is finished within 10 minutes.
